What are Some Ways to Use a Blog in a Chemistry Classroom...?
- 1- As a teacher you can post homework assignments so the parents of the students can keep up and the students who were absent for any reason can also keep up on the assignments.
- If the home work assignments just asks for something simple, such as key points of a chapter, a brief description or rough draft on an element or a paragraph on how two elements would react then student the student could just leave a comment under the blog post to save paper and the teacher could keep things more organized.
- You could create a blog just for the parents of the students in your class. They could post questions, comments, concerns.
- You could have a blog between science teachers in a district where you could share teaching ideas and activities for everyone to feed off of.
- The students could get into groups and have a certain topic to research and they could create a blog and post the findings as they research it on this blog so you, the teacher, could track their progress.
All of these ways could be very beneficial in keeping things organized , for communication with parents and students and just making you classroom more public and open.
